I recently did a training in Chad, and wanted to try to locate some biosand filter producers. However, I found no one in either the NGO world or private sector who were producing them unfortunately. Also CAWST (Canadian NGO focusing on biosand filters) had no contacts there either.
We did make a filter in Abeche for the training from an oil drum.
So it’s definitely a need to start something up there. Are you planning to start making them?
